  1. The promoter of the competition is the EFL, the brand name of The Football League Limited (Company Number: 80612) of EFL House, 10-12 West Cliff, Preston, Lancashire PR1 8HU.
  2. The promotion is a prize draw, with free entry route as set out below. No purchase necessary.
  3. Entries are limited to one entry per individual. Any entries that, in the view of the EFL have been made on a multiple basis by or for the same person, including via any sort of software or machine enabling multiple entries, will be disqualified. The EFL also reserves the right to discount multiple entries from the same or similar email addresses or the same IP Address.
  4. The prize for each particular prize draw, together with the opening and closing dates will be clearly set out within the promotional material relating to the individual draw.
  5. No cash alternative will be offered. The EFL reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of its choosing which has a value the same or greater than the original prize, in the event of circumstances outside its control making the prize unavailable. The prize may be subject to availability and change where expressly stated.
  6. The prize draw is only open to people aged 18 or over.
  7. To enter the prize draw you should complete the EFL survey and return it to the EFL by submitting the online form.
  8. The prize draw opened on Wednesday 20th June 2018 and the closing date for entries is 5pm (UK time) on Friday 29th June 2018. The winners will be drawn at random on Monday 2nd July 2018 selected from all those who have completed the survey and opted into the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw will be supervised by an independent person. The winners will be contacted by email and they will have 14 days to respond to their email notification and claim their prize. Failure to do so (or if it is otherwise found a winner fails to meet the qualifying criteria for entry) will result in forfeiture of their prize and selection by the EFL of a different winner(s). Winners who respond to their email notification will be provided with their prize within 30 days of responding, or such other later time as the EFL may notify and is reasonable having regard to the nature of the prize (SEE SECTION 15 BELOW AS SOME PRIZES FOR THIS PRIZE DRAW ARE EXPECTED TO TAKE LONGER TO PROVIDE).
  9. The draw is not open to employees of the EFL, their subsidiaries, families, agents, or their affiliates.
  10. The prize winners may be expected to have photographs taken for press or promotion purposes, and these together with the winners name(s) may be published.
  11. Any queries and comments should be directed to enquiries@efl.com.
  12. The promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost, damaged, delayed or unreadable. Insofar as permitted by law, the EFL, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the EFL, its agents or distributors. Your statutory rights are not affected. The EFL is not liable for any business losses incurred by entrants.
  13. The name and county of the prize winners will be available by sending a written request to: The EFL Survey, EFL, 55 Blandford Street, London, W1U 7HG. Entrants agree their name and county may be disclosed for this purpose.
  14. In the event of a prize winner being unable to accept their prize, upon agreement of the EFL, he/she may be permitted to nominate a family member or partner to accept the prize on their behalf. Under no circumstances can the prize otherwise be transferred to a third party or sold for any financial amount.
  15. Four winners will be selected at random from entries and will be eligible to win one of four prizes. The prizes include: 2 tickets to the Carabao Cup Final 2019 at Wembley; 2 tickets to the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final 2019 at Wembley; 2 tickets to the Sky Bet League One Play-Off Final 2019 at Wembley; 2 tickets to the Sky Bet League Two Play-Off Final 2019 at Wembley. If a winner is known to be a supporter of a club playing in a particular final, the EFL will use reasonable efforts to try and ensure the winner is allocated the ticket prize for the final in which that club plays, but shall not be obliged to do so. Otherwise (or if more than one winner is a supporter of the finalist clubs playing in a final) prizes will be allocated at random. PLEASE NOTE SOME PRIZES (INCLUDING EFL FINALS TICKETS) RELATE TO THE FOLLOWING SEASON AND THERE MAY BE A DELAY IN PROVIDING THESE. THE APPLICABLE WINNER(S) WILL BE GIVEN ESTIMATED DATES OF DELIVERY WITH ANY WINNERS NOTIFICATION AND WILL RECEIVE UPDATES OF ANY CHANGES AFTER THAT.
  16. The winner of any prize which includes tickets is not permitted, by virtue of Section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1998 to sell or otherwise dispose of the tickets to any other third party whatsoever, unless agreed by the EFL under paragraph 14 above. Use of all tickets won under this prize draw is subject to the EFL’s Conditions of Issue for tickets which will be notified to winners with delivery of applicable tickets. Please note this includes a requirement to, amongst other things, comply with the ground regulations of Wembley Stadium.
  17. Winners are responsible for their own behaviour and the behaviour of their guest(s) whilst enjoying the Prize. The EFL and stadium operator reserve the right in their absolute discretion to exclude a winner and/or their guest(s) from participation in the Prize if: a winner and/or their guest(s) fail to comply with the directions of the EFL, stadium operator or any companies associated with the Prize; or a winner and/or guest(s) act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others; or is subject to a banning order or Club ban. The EFL nor stadium operator accepts any responsibility if the winner and/or the winner’s guest are denied entry or asked to leave the match for failure to abide by such terms, requirement, any applicable law or regulation or because of any inappropriate behaviour.
  18. If a winner and/or their guest(s) has any special accessibility requirements, the winner will need to make the Promoter aware of this as soon as the winner has won any tickets. In some instances, notice of accessible seating may only be available at short notice. If wheelchair spaces are available, these will be offered on a first-come first -served basis.
  19. The personal information you provide will be kept securely and used to communicate with you in accordance with our privacy policy, together with other specific uses noted in these terms and conditions.
  20. The EFL and/or clubs will be notified of the identity of ticket winners and their guest(s), and databases will be checked against any Club Banning Orders as well as the National Police Database for those who may be subject to a court banning order. Any persons found subject to a club or court banning order are not eligible to enter this competition or claim the prize. If a winner’s guest(s) is subject to a Club Banning Order or court banning order then they are not eligible for the prize, and the winner will need to identify a different guest(s).
  21. Entry into the draw will be deemed to constitute acceptance by you of these terms and conditions.
  22. Subject to any inability to exclude rights you may have by virtue of your country of residence, the prize draw is governed by English law and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
