Tyler Walton’s 10.00 Rating is the highest of this week’s Combined EFL Team of the Week, with Liam Mandeville’s 9.78 Rating the next best.

Both players starred in 5-0 victories, with Walton producing his performance away from home at Rochdale.

Queens Park Rangers’ Richard Kone recorded the most goal contributions across the Championship, League One and League Two this week, with his hat-trick and assist against Swansea taking him to four.

Mandeville and Walton were next with three goal contributions apiece. Doncaster Rovers’ Owen Bailey and QPR captain Jimmy Dunne also scored twice, while Doncaster goalkeeper Tommy Simkin made nine saves in a clean-sheet victory.

Tommy Simkin (Doncaster Rovers) – 8.72 Rating

Simkin kept a clean sheet in Doncaster’s 2-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday, making nine saves, including three from outside the box.

Only Southampton’s David Peretz, with 11, and Derby County’s Jacob Widell Zetterström, with 10, made more saves among goalkeepers across the Championship, League One and League Two this weekend.

The Owls had far more of the ball after Owen Bailey’s early brace, but Simkin helped Doncaster protect their advantage.

He dealt with Josh Bannan’s drive from the edge of the box on the hour and a glancing header from substitute Burstow on 71 minutes.

His nine saves were crucial to securing the Yorkshire derby victory and earning his place in the XI.

Luke Molyneux (Salford City) – 8.13 Rating

Molyneux set up two of Salford’s four goals in the 4-2 win at Walsall on Monday night.

His through ball sent Macaulay Langstaff in to score on the stroke of half-time, before his corner provided Ade Oluwo with the header for the fourth, eight minutes from time.

The defender also recorded four key passes and three shots, showing his attacking influence extended beyond his two assists.

Salford’s win was their seventh in a row in League Two, a first in their EFL history, and ended Walsall’s 11-match unbeaten start.

Walsall had conceded only seven league goals beforehand, level with the best defensive record in the division.

Jimmy Dunne (Queens Park Rangers) – 8.68 Rating

The QPR captain scored twice in the 5-0 win over Swansea. His first was a header from Harvey Vale’s corner in first-half stoppage time, which made it 4-0 at the break.

His second was a touch on Kone’s shot in the 86th minute.

Dunne also contributed defensively, making five clearances and winning five duels, alongside two aerial duels.

He put both of his shots on target, underlining his efficiency in front of goal. The victory lifted QPR into eighth, back inside the play-off places, and ended Swansea’s nine-match unbeaten run.

Seán Grehan (Doncaster Rovers) – 8.56 Rating

Grehan was part of the back line that shut out Sheffield Wednesday at home.

Bailey’s two goals inside the opening 16 minutes gave Doncaster a lead to protect, and Wednesday could not get past Grehan and his teammates in front of Simkin.

The defender made nine clearances, three interceptions and two tackles, while winning six aerial duels and nine duels overall.

His work helped Doncaster withstand sustained pressure after taking an early lead, complementing Simkin’s nine saves to secure a valuable clean sheet.

Luca Woodhouse (Exeter City) – 8.67 Rating

Woodhouse scored the winner in Exeter’s 2-1 victory over Fleetwood.

His 25-yard curler into the top corner in the 64th minute came three minutes after Ronan Coughlan had cancelled out Charlie Cummins’ opener.

It was a wet afternoon at St James Park, but Woodhouse delivered at both ends.

Alongside his spectacular goal, he made nine clearances, two tackles and one interception, winning seven aerial duels and 12 duels in total.

His performance helped Exeter extend their strong October league form to four wins and one draw from five matches.

Liam Mandeville (Chesterfield) – 9.78 Rating

Mandeville scored the fifth goal against Crewe on 45+1 minutes, as Chesterfield went in at the break 5-0 up, a club-record half-time lead in Opta’s records.

They eventually finished 5-1 winners against a Crewe side who started the day third.

Mandeville finished the game with one goal and two assists, giving him three goal contributions, joint-second across the three EFL divisions this week alongside Walton.

He also produced three key passes and three shots, while contributing four tackles and winning eight duels.

Chesterfield’s unbeaten home run in all competitions now stands at eight matches.

Owen Bailey (Doncaster Rovers) – 8.85 Rating

Bailey scored twice inside the opening 16 minutes against Sheffield Wednesday.

The first, on six minutes, was a scramble finished from a corner. The second came moments later, a stroked finish from Isaac Hutchinson’s low cross.

The Doncaster captain’s two goals were enough to win the Yorkshire derby, and his statistics reflected his attacking threat.

Bailey registered four shots, with three on target, while also making an interception, three clearances and a tackle.

He won three aerial duels and five duels overall, producing an influential all-round performance in a decisive victory.

Aidan Morris (Middlesbrough) – 8.59 Rating

Morris opened the scoring on 13 minutes in Middlesbrough’s 5-1 win at Bolton.

He arrived at the far post to tap in Amario Cozier-Duberry’s pull-back, his second goal of the season.

The midfielder played all 90 minutes as Boro moved two points clear at the top of the Championship, overtaking Swansea on Friday night.

It was their biggest win under Kim Hellberg. Morris also recorded four key passes, alongside two interceptions, two clearances and two tackles.

His contribution combined a goal with important work in possession and without the ball.

David Tutonda (Accrington Stanley) – 8.27 Rating

Tutonda played in the defence that kept a clean sheet at Rochdale, his former club, where he spent last season before joining Accrington in July.

Accrington won 5-0 for their first away victory of the season, and it was John Doolan’s biggest win as Stanley manager.

Tutonda offered more than defensive solidity, recording one assist and three key passes. He also made two interceptions, two clearances and five tackles, while winning 11 duels and three aerial duels.

His all-round contribution helped Accrington dominate their former League Two rivals and earn a place in the Team of the Week.

Tyler Walton (Accrington Stanley) – 10.00 Rating

Walton delivered the standout performance of the weekend, scoring twice and setting up another goal in Accrington’s 5-0 win at Rochdale.

He played the pass for Charlie Warren’s finish on 38 minutes, then scored in first-half stoppage time by curling the ball over Sam Waller from just inside the box.

He added a second on 51 minutes, knocking in the rebound after Joe Anderson’s shot was saved.

Walton’s nine shots were the most attempted by any player across the three EFL divisions this weekend. Only Will Lankshear, with five, recorded more shots on target than Walton’s four.

He finished with two goals, one assist and two key passes, giving him three goal contributions, joint-second behind Kone.

The result moved Accrington up to ninth and extended their unbeaten run to nine games in all competitions.

Rochdale were booed off after a fifth successive game without a win. Walton’s goals, creativity and exceptional volume of attempts made him the clear choice for the highest Rating of the week.

Richard Kone (Queens Park Rangers) – 9.41 Rating

Kone recorded the most goal contributions of any player across the Championship, League One and League Two this week, scoring a hat-trick and providing an assist in QPR’s 5-0 victory over Swansea.

He scored on two minutes, headed in on nine, and converted a penalty on 15 after Paul Smyth was fouled by the goalkeeper. It was the earliest hat-trick in the EFL since the 2004 rebrand.

All three goals came from his first three shots, and he then set up Dunne’s second goal.

Kone finished with four goal contributions from six shots, putting three attempts on target. He also completed 22 of 27 passes, created a key pass and won four aerial duels.

His performance gave QPR a commanding victory, ended Swansea’s unbeaten run and made him the week’s leading contributor in front of goal.
