'This is special' - Richie Wellens

Leyton Orient manager Richie Wellens has called on his players to enjoy the Wembley occasion as they prepare to face Charlton Athletic in the Sky Bet League One Play-Off Final.

The O's are looking to return to the first time in 43 years and will be playing in front of a packed crowd at the National Stadium which is likely to be their largest ever.

Tha pressure and expactation could promote nerves, but Wellens has inisted that the players need to relax and leave the over-worrying to him.

Speaking to BBC Sport he said: "Just enjoy it. I know that people start over-worrying and panicking but leave that to me. I've got a job to do and I've got to make sure the team is prepared come Sunday.

"It's the biggest ever crowd we've ever played in front of, I think we're taking a brilliant following and Charlton, you expect them to take [a lot of supporters] because they're a huge club."

Orient came through a closely fought Play-Off Semi-Final against Stockport with the inital clash finishing 2-2 at Brisbane Road before the tie had to be determind on penalties in the second leg at Edgeley Park.

Ethan Galbraith scored the winner from 12-yards after goalkeeping heroics from Josh Keeley and both could be crucial for the East London-outfit this afternoon.

While it was a memorable game, Wellens is ultimately hoping for a victory at Wembley which can be talked about for years to come.

He added: "This is special for us. We want to be talked about for years to come for this occasion for winning, not just the fact that these players got us to Wembley," Wellens added.

"You want to be remembered for winning things and that's what we aim to do."
