Sky Bet Championship
The night's only Championship fixture was a rescheduled clash between Portsmouth and Millwall.
Portsmouth returned to Fratton Park following a crushing defeat on the road at the weekend, knowing their strong home form would stand them in good stead against a struggling Millwall side.
Both sides had chances throughout the opening exchanges, with Bangura-Williams missing from close range for Millwall and Callum Lang heading straight at the keeper.
It was Millwall who went on to take their chance though, Bangura-Williams and Ivanovic combining for the second game running to give Millwall a 1-0 lead before half-time.
Millwall defended resolutely in the second-half, denying Pompey clear-cut chances and condeming the hosts to their first home loss in seven games.
