The Carabao Cup Semi-Final first legs took place this week with Newcastle United beating Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates and Tottenham Hotspur taking a narrow 1-0 lead into the second leg against Liverpool.
Here are some of the standout statistics from both games ahead of the return fixtures next month...
Arsenal 0-2 Newcastle United
2 - Newcastle United have scored at least two goals in each of their last nine games in all competitions, only doing so more often back in 1961 (10 games).
4 - Arsenal had four clear-cut chances but failed to convert any of them, allowing the Magpies to keep a clean sheet heading into the second leg.
7 - Alexander Isak and Jacob Murphy have combined for seven goals in all competitions this season, the most of any other Premier League duo.
12 - Newcastle had previously lost 12 of their last 13 matches against Arsenal in all competitions before their win on Tuesday. Their last victory (1-0) came in November 2010.
23 - Arsenal registered just three shots on target throughout the 90 minutes, despite having 23 attempts on goal. Only against West Ham United in December 2023 have the Gunners had more shots in a game without scoring (30) under Mikel Arteta.
28 - The Gunners won just 28.6% of their aerial duels compared to 71.4% won by opponents Newcastle.
50 - Alexander Isak has scored 50 goals for Newcastle in all competitions, while since his debut in August 2022, only Erling Haaland (105) and Mohamed Salah (73) have scored more goals among Premier League players.
69 - Arsenal dominated possession with 69.5% compared to Newcastle's 30.5% but couldn't find the back of the net.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Liverpool
2 - Liverpool suffered only their second defeat of the season in all competitions (also v Nottingham Forest in September), ending their 24-match unbeaten run (W20 D4). It was also their first away defeat of the campaign.
4 - Tottenham have won four consecutive League Cup matches for the first time since the 2014-15 campaign, in which they went on to reach the final.
6 - Spurs debutant Antonín Kinsky made six saves to keep Liverpool at bay, becoming the first goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet in their first start for Tottenham since Paulo Gazzaniga in November 2017.
13 - Liverpool created 13 chances throughout the 90 minutes registering 14 shots in the process but couldn't find the back of the net.
18 - Aged 18 years and 341 days, Lucas Bergvall was Tottenham’s youngest goalscorer in the League Cup since Gareth Bale vs Middlesbrough in September 2007 (18y 72d).
29 - Liverpool failed to score for only the second time in 29 games in all competitions this season, with both ending in 1-0 defeats (also v Nottingham Forest in September).
47 - The Reds won 47 duels during the game, which was slightly more than their opponents and winners Tottenham (43).
60 - Liverpool dominated possession (60%) compared to Spurs (40%) but couldn't turn their time on the ball into a goal.
