Fantasy EFL Gameweek 26 has five more matches remaining across the Championship and League Two, as 10 sides are doubling this GW and go head-to-head.

Here are our top lessons we learned from the weekend's action, as 36 matches have now been played. The final single gameweek match saw Sunderland snatch bragging rights in the Tees-Wear derby, defeating Middlesbrough (A) 2-3.

Although this list can be added to following the remaining games, some of these thoughts will shape our thinking heading into GW27, which sees 32 sides play twice!

Lesson One: Seven heaven for Leeds United

Leeds United wrote the EFL headlines this weekend, defeating Cardiff City 7-0 in front of a sellout Elland Road. The standout was Daniel James (M), who bagged 19 points for 6.7% - providing a hat-trick of assists (+9), scoring once (+6), and provided further attacking returns. Junior Firpo (D) also provided three assists to secure 16 points, while Joël Piroe (F), Ao Tanaka (M) and Joe Rothwell (M) all returned double-digits. There were six different goalscorers in a league match for the Whites for the first time since May 2001, and they take on Coventry City (A) on Wednesday, hoping to make it 13 unbeaten.

Lesson Two: Josh Sargent's hot form

Since returning from injury, Norwich City's Josh Sargent (F) has scored three goals in three games [two starts], and on Saturday helped the Canaries to a 0-1 away victory at Watford. He's now been involved in nine goals in his last eight starts in the Championship - totalling 54 points. The goal at the weekend took his tally to seven goals and five assists in 16 games for Johannes Hoff Thorup's side, and faces Derby County (H) and PNE (H) in DGW27.

Lesson Three: Maxime Estève reaches the 200+ club

We have our third player this season to reach over 200 points - Burnley's Maxime Estève (D)! The centre-back has helped the Clarets to 21 clean sheets in 30 - just five off QPR's record of 25. Most impressively, the number five is yet to contribute in front of goal, and has three double-digit hauls to his name. He's 19 points off leading-scorer Mickey Demetriou (D) of Crewe Alexandra, and faces Oxford United (H) on Tuesday in DGW26.
