He said: “It was incredible to appear in a documentary, focusing on an area of football that I've done a huge amount of work in. To film those scenes at Leyton Orient and then be part of the team to bring this screening to the club is enormously satisfying. It also underlines the strength of the Leyton Orient, The Punjabi O's and Trehan Football partnership which remains at the forefront of driving positive change for British South Asians in football."

A raffle giveaway, which included a replica Leyton Orient home shirt ahead of the 2025/26 season as donated by CEO Mark Devlin, was also among the night’s activations, as well as a panel hosted by Desi Ballers Zohaib and the first South Asian female to represent England at any level, Aman Dosanj.

Mark said : “Leyton Orient are proud of the part we've played to support this documentary and host this screening during South Asian Heritage Month.

"The success of our partnership with Trehan Football and official supporters' group The Punjabi O's continues to give rise to opportunities to progress as a football club and this wider collaboration is another example of that.

"At the same time we recognise that we remain at the start of the journey which we hope will see more members of the South Asian community, not only supporting Leyton Orient, but also representing the club on the field.”
