Four goal scorers and a penalty shootout hero make WhoScored's list of top five performers from Round One of the Carabao Cup.

5. Rob Street (8.5) – Lincoln City

23-year-old striker Rob Street kicks off our Round 1 top performers from this week's Carabao Cup action after a goal and an assist in Lincoln City's 3-1 win at Harrogate.

Street had five shots on goal and won four aerials before being withdrawn after 69 minutes, shortly after scoring his side's third goal.

Ellis Taylor scored a consolation goal for Harrogate deep in injury time as the Imps eased through.

4. Cameron Dawson (8.5) - Rotherham

Rotherham stopper Cameron Dawson comes in as the fourth highest performer according to player ratings from WhoScored after saving two penalties in his side's shootout success over Salford City.

The 30-year-old had already made four saves, including three in his box, as the match finished goalless.

3. Owen Oseni (8.6) - Plymouth

Owen Oseni was one of just two players (Wrexham's Ollie Palmer the other) to register two goals in the first round of the 2025/26 Carabao Cup as he fired Plymouth to a 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers at Home Park.

Man of the match Oseni had seven shots - a number bettered only by Coventry's Ellis Simms.

2. Ethan Galbraith (8.6) - Swansea

Just missing out on the top spot is Swansea's Ethan Galbraith, who scored from outside the area in stoppage time to put a seal on the Swans' 3-1 win over Crawley Town.

Galbraith had three shots, won three aerial duels and was successful with more than 90% of his passes.

1. Marcelino Nunez (8.8) - Norwich

The week's top performer in the Carabao Cup was Norwich's Marcelino Nunez, who scored the Canaries' crucial second goal in a 2-1 win at fellow Championship side Watford.

Nunez played the entire 90 minutes, beating Watford keeper Egil Selvik from 30 yards in the 24th minute.

It was one of two shots for the Chilean international, who also impressed by registering a pass success rate of 89.7%.
