Goalkeeper: Ashley Maynard-Brewer (Charlton) - 7.85 rating

Charlton's winless run extended to seven matches in a 3-3 draw at Port Vale on Saturday and while Ashley Maynard-Brewer conceded three times at Vale Park, it would have been a lot worse for the Addicks without the 24-year-old's heroics. Indeed, Maynard-Brewer made nine saves in total to secure a WhoScored.com rating of 7.85.

Right-back: Kane Wilson (Derby) - 7.58 rating

The first of three Derby players in the side, Kane Wilson was solid as the Rams beat Fleetwood 3-1 at Highbury on Saturday. Wilson got forward well, completing four dribbles, to contribute towards a WhoScored.com rating of 7.58.

Centre-back: Mickey Demetriou (Crewe) - 7.74 rating

Crewe secured an impressive 1-0 win at Mansfield over the weekend with centre-back Mickey Demetriou holding firm to guarantee the clean sheet and all the spoils for his side. The experienced defender made 10 clearances and won seven aerial duels on his way to a WhoScored.com rating of 7.74.

Centre-back: Liam Gibson (Harrogate) - 7.83 rating

Partnering Demetriou at the heart of the defence is the first of two Harrogate representatives. Liam Gibson earned a WhoScored.com rating of 7.83 as the Sulphurites beat Doncaster 3-1 on home turf. The 26-year-old shone off the ball, making eight clearances, four tackles and two interceptions, and won seven aerial duels, to nail down a spot in the side.

Left-back: Nicholas Tsaroulla (Crawley) - 8.20 rating

Nicholas Tsaroulla rounds off the backline as he garnered a WhoScored.com rating of 8.20 in Crawley's impressive 4-2 win at Bradford. The 24-year-old provided the assist for Danilo Orsi's opener against Graham Alexander's side, that coming from one of two key passes, while two tackles, two interceptions and two dribbles helped Tsaroulla to the player of the match award.

Central midfield: Abraham Odoh (Harrogate) - 8.61 rating

Back to the EnviroVent Stadium stadium now, and Abraham Odoh earned the player of the match award in Harrogate's 3-1 win over Doncaster having been directly involved in two of their three goals. Odoh followed up his assist for Sam Folarin's opening goal with his fourth league goal of the season with 15 minutes to play, those coming from respective returns of three key passes and two shots.

Central midfield: Max Bird (Derby) - 9.14 rating

With a WhoScored.com rating of 9.14, Max Bird is the EFL player of the week. Bird was directly involved in two of Derby's three goals at Fleetwood, as he registered his fourth and fifth assists of the season in the 3-1 win. The 23-year-old's brace of assists came from three key passes, while additional returns of four dribbles and three tackles contributed towards the youngster's inclusion in the XI.

Central midfield: Nathaniel Mendez-Laing (Derby) - 8.49 rating

The third and final Derby representative in the XI completes the midfield. Nathaniel Mendez-Laing bagged his sixth league goal of the campaign at Fleetwood, getting the better of Jay Lynch with one of seven shots. The 31-year-old was a menace for the Fleetwood backline in Derby's 3-1 win as he completed six dribbles to feature in the side.

Striker: Uche Ikpeazu (Port Vale) - 8.98 rating

Uche Ikpeazu was the player of the match in Port Vale's 3-3 draw with Charlton, and the Valiants striker must have thought he'd done enough to end the game on the winning side. The 28-year-old netted with one of six shots, won five aerial duels and completed four dribbles to return a WhoScored.com rating of 8.98, his best in a league match this season.

Striker: Matt Smith (Salford) - 8.72 rating

Karl Robinson oversaw a 2-2 draw on his Salford managerial debut, even if he was sent off after 14 minutes, and watched on as Matt Smith put in a player of the match performance. The towering frontman won 19 aerial duels in the stalemate with Forest Green, and netted with one of three shots to land a WhoScored.com rating of 8.72.

Striker: Courtney Baker-Richardson (Crewe) - 7.82 rating

Joining Ikpeazu and Smith on the frontline is Crewe striker Courtney Baker-Richardson, who registered the assist for Joe White's early winner at Mansfield. The 28-year-old's assist came from one of two key passes, while Baker-Richardson also won eight aerial duels and had five efforts on goal to contribute towards his inclusion with a WhoScored.com rating of 7.82.
