Liverpool's fifth best rated player in the Carabao Cup, the Reds' injury issues means Harvey Elliott may be required to feature from the outset at Wembley on Sunday. The youngster geared up for the final with a player of the match performance in Wednesday's win over Luton, a game in which he provided eight key passes, seven of which were from open play; a joint-record in a Premier League match this season.

4. Jarell Quansah - 6.91 rating

Somewhat surprisingly, no player has registered more assists than Jarell Quansah (3) in the Carabao Cup this season. The 21-year-old has been solid in possession where needed in the competition, with 83.8 passes per game ranking fourth of those to have made at least three appearances. While it remains to be seen whether he'll start against the Blues, if Jurgen Klopp does elect to use the youngster on Sunday, it'll be richly deserved for a solid breakout campaign.

3. Curtis Jones - 7.18 rating

Curtis Jones has been a key player for Liverpool this season but the 23-year-old will miss the meeting with Chelsea this weekend owing to injury. It's a shame for both player and club with Jones returning a WhoScored.com rating of 7.18 in the Carabao Cup having scored three times and returned the second best pass success rate of outfield players (94.7%) in the competition.

2. Cody Gakpo - 7.51 rating

One of those who may benefit from Liverpool's injury issues to potentially start against Chelsea is Cody Gakpo, and it would be deserved for the Dutchman to feature from the outset. Gakpo has played a bit-part role in Liverpool's league campaign but has been pivotal in their progression to the final, netting four times across his five outings; only Aston Villa newboy Morgan Rogers has scored more (5). With two goals and one assist in his last two outings, the 24-year-old is warming up for Wembley nicely.

Like Quansah, Darwin Nunez is another on three assists in the Carabao Cup this season. With an additional goal to his name, Liverpool's 'Agent of Chaos' is the Reds' best rated player in the competition. Those three assists come from an average of 3.6 key passes per 90, that ranking sixth in the Carabao Cup, while 3.6 dribbles per 90 not only ranks fourth, but has contributed to Nunez's WhoScored.com rating of 7.53.
