Sunderland trounced Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday afternoon, with Dennis Cirkin opening the scoring for the Black Cats early on. The 22-year-old struck with one of three shots, while he was also on hand to win three aerial duels and make three tackles to return a WhoScored.com rating of 8.33.

4. Lewie Coyle (Hull) - 8.55 rating

Hull were held to a 1-1 draw at Plymouth on Saturday with Lewie Coyle netting the Tigers' equaliser midway through the second half. Coyle's goal came from one of two shots, and he worked hard off the ball, too, as he made five tackles to land a WhoScored.com rating of 8.55.

3. Eliezer Mayenda (Sunderland) - 8.81 rating

Back to the Stadium of Light now, and Eliezer Mayenda was the star performer as Sunderland smashed Sheffield Wednesday. The teenage striker netted with both shots in their 4-0 win, and was on hand to make three tackles to feature with a WhoScored.com rating of 8.81.

2. Edo Kayembe (Watford) - 8.96 rating

Edo Kayembe returned a WhoScored.com rating of 8.96 in Watford's 3-0 win over Stoke on Saturday having bagged his second and third league goals of the season on home turf. The 26-year-old also found a teammate with 92.9% of his 28 passes and was unfortunate not to register an assist having made five key passes.

1. Haji Wright (Coventry) - 9.82 rating

With a WhoScored.com rating of 9.82, Coventry's Haji Wright is the Championship Player of the Week. The 26-year-old netted twice in Coventry's 3-2 win over Oxford on Friday night, the brace coming from eight shots, while additional returns of five aerial wins, four dribbles and three key passes capped a superb showing.
