It's half time in the second legs of the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Semi-Finals and here's all you need to know ahead of the deciding ties...
Luton Town v Sunderland
- Luton have opened the scoring in all three of their meetings with Sunderland this season but have failed to win a single one (D2 L1).
- Sunderland have lost just one of their last 14 meetings with Luton in all competitions (W8 D5), a 3-0 loss in the League Cup in August 2007.
- Sunderland's last away win at Luton was on the final day of the 2006-07 Championship season (D2 L1 since), with the Black Cats winning 5-0 at the already relegated Hatters to win the second-tier title.
- Only Portsmouth (8) have played more games in the Football League play-offs without winning a single game than Luton Town (7 – D3 L4). All three of their home games have been drawn.
- Sunderland have won just one of their seven away games in the Football League play-offs (D2 L4), beating Newcastle United 2-0 in 1989-90.
- Luton's first leg defeat ended their 14-game unbeaten run (W8 D6). The Hatters haven't lost consecutive matches in all competitions since a run of three in August 2022.
- Sunderland have won their last three away games, last having a longer winning run on the road in all competitions in October/November 2018 (6).
- Jack Clarke has been involved in eight goals in his last eight appearances for Sunderland (2 goals, 6 assists). He's assisted a goal in each of his last three games, including setting up Trai Hume's winner against Luton in the first leg.
Middlesbrough v Coventry City
- Middlesbrough are unbeaten in their last 13 home games against Coventry City (W9 D4) since a 2-0 defeat at Ayresome Park in February 1993.
- Since Middlesbrough moved to the Riverside Stadium in 1995-96, Coventry City are the only team to have played more than five times there without winning a single match in all competitions (D4 L9).
- Middlesbrough have scored in all 15 of their home games in all competitions under Michael Carrick (37 goals in total), last failing to find the net at the Riverside Stadium in a goalless draw with Huddersfield in October.
- Coventry are unbeaten in their last nine away games (W4 D5), conceding just four goals and keeping five clean sheets in that run. They last had a longer run without defeat on the road as a second tier or higher side between January and May 1998 (10 games).
- Middlesbrough have failed to score in each of their last four EFL play-off matches (D2 L2), since beating Brentford 3-0 in the 2014-15 semi-final second leg.
- Coventry failed to register a single shot on target in the first leg against Middlesbrough, just the third time this season they've done so in all competitions this season (also home and away league games against Burnley).
- Chuba Akpom has scored 29 goals in all competitions this season – the last Middlesbrough player to hit 30 in a single campaign was Fabrizio Ravanelli in 1996-97 (31).
