- Blackpool have won only one of their last 17 league matches (D6 L10), a 1-0 home win over Stoke City in their last home match. The Seasiders haven’t won consecutive home league games since March 2022.
- Burnley’s last league game saw them win 4-0 against Huddersfield, their third win by 4+ goals in the Championship this season. It’s their most wins by a 4+ goal margin in a league season since 2015-16 (3), last having more in 1983-84 (5).
- During his time managing in English football’s top four tiers, Blackpool’s Mick McCarthy has won 12 league matches against Burnley – he’s only registered more wins against Derby (14) and Charlton (13).
Huddersfield Town v Coventry City
- The last two league meetings between Huddersfield and Coventry at the John Smith’s Stadium have ended 1-1, with Danny Ward on the scoresheet for the Terriers in both games.
- Coventry are looking to complete a league double over Huddersfield Town for only the second time, also doing so in the 1971-72 top-flight campaign.
- Huddersfield Town have picked up just six Championship points in 2023 so far (W1 D3 L5) – only Queens Park Rangers have collected fewer points so far this calendar year (4).

Millwall v Norwich City

- Rotherham United are looking to win consecutive home league games under Matt Taylor for the first time, last doing so in August this season under former manager Paul Warne.
- Queens Park Rangers have lost their last four league games, shipping 11 goals across those defeats. The Hoops are the only side without a Championship win in 2023 (P9 D4 L5).

Sunderland v Stoke City
- Sunderland are looking to complete their first league double over Stoke since the 2011-12 campaign when the sides were in the Premier League.
- This is Stoke City’s first league visit to Sunderland since January 2017 in the Premier League, winning 3-1 with goals from Marko Arnautovic (x2) and Peter Crouch.
- Sunderland have lost their last two league matches, as many as in their previous 13 games combined (W7 D4 L2). The Black Cats haven’t lost three in a row since February 2022.
- Stoke City have lost seven league games 1-0 this season, including last time out against Millwall. It’s their most 1-0 defeats in a league season since 2013-14 (7), last enduring more in 2004-05 (13).
- Stoke manager Alex Neil’s last win as Sunderland manager was in this fixture in August, a 1-0 win. The last manager to win an EFL fixture with both sides in a single season was Chris Wilder in 2013-14 (Oxford United vs Northampton Town), while in the Championship it’s only happened once since 2004-05, by Sean O’Driscoll in 2012-13 (Bristol City vs Nottingham Forest).

- Preston North End have kept eight away clean sheets in the Championship this season, with no side keeping more. It’s their most in a Championship season since 2005-06 (11).
- Watford’s Ken Sema has been involved in 11 Championship goals this season (4 goals, 7 assists). His seven assists are the most by a Hornets player in a league season since Troy Deeney registered seven in 2015-16 in the Premier League.
Wigan Athletic v Birmingham City
- Wigan Athletic have won their last three league matches against Birmingham City, their best winning run against the Blues.
- This is Birmingham’s first league visits to Wigan since October 2019, losing 1-0. Their last win there came in December 2018 under Garry Monk.
- Although they have only failed to score in eight of their 33 league games this season, Wigan Athletic are the only Championship yet to score three goals in a game this season. They haven’t netted more than once in any of their last 12 games (9 goals in total).
- Birmingham City have lost nine of their last 11 league games (W2), losing the last four in a row since a 2-0 home win over West Brom.
- Wigan have only won two of their last 20 league games (D6 L12), both home wins against the two sides also occupying the Championship relegation zone with them, 2-1 against Blackpool in November and 1-0 against Huddersfield in February.
