Sky Bet League Two: Post-Easter Monday stat pack

10 April 2023

Here are all the post-match stats from Sky Bet League Two this Easter Monday!

  • Mansfield Town are on the longest winless run of Easter Monday Football League games among current EFL sides, failing to win in their last 12 such games since a 3-1 victory over Kidderminster Harriers in March 2005 (D4 L8).
  • Swindon Town have lost each of their last four Football League games on Easter Monday; only Leeds United (7) are on a longer such losing run among current EFL sides.
  • AFC Wimbledon have dropped 35 points from winning positions this season, the most of any side in the top four tiers.
  • Bradford City’s Andy Cook has become just the second player to be involved in 30 league goals across England's top four tiers this season (24 goals, 6 assists), along with Erling Haaland.
  • Barrow AFC striker Josh Gordon netted a league hat-trick for the very first time in his career, while it was the first EFL hat trick on Easter Monday since Gavin Whyte in 2019 for Oxford United, and the first in League Two since 2015 (Jamie Cureton for Dagenham & Redbridge).
  • John Akinde scored his 16th brace in the EFL – the striker has netted more doubles in the top four tiers without scoring a hat-trick than any other player since his debut in September 2008.
