Sky Bet Championship: Post-match stat pack

15 April 2023

Here are some post-match stats from the latest round of Sky Bet Championship action...

●      At 21 years 126 days old, Middlesbrough’s Cameron Archer became the youngest player to be directly involved in four goals (two goals, two assists) in a Championship game since Brentford’s Josh Dasilva (21yrs 38d) against Luton in November 2019 (three goals, one assist).

●      Sheffield United have won four consecutive league games against Cardiff for the first time since December 1977, while they netted four league goals against the Bluebirds for the first time since a 5-3 victory in September 2003.

●      Coventry City’s Viktor Gyökeres scored his 19th and 20th league goals of the season, the first time he’s ever reached 20 league goals in a single EFL campaign – only Chuba Akpom (27) has scored more Championship goals than Gyökeres this season.

●      Luton’s win at Rotherham means they are unbeaten in their last 10 league games (W7 D3). That’s their longest unbeaten run in the second tier since in May 1982 (run of 14). Carlton Morris has registered six direct goal involvements in his eight EFL games for the Hatters since the start of March (5 goals and 1 assist)

●      João Pedro has been involved in 15 league goals for Watford this season (scored 11, assisted 4). That’s as many league goals as he had been involved in across his last three seasons in the top four tiers of English football (12 goals, 3 assists)
