Following the EFL midweek action, WhoScored take a look at some of the top performers in the Team of the Week!

5. Carlton Morris (Luton) - 8.78 rating

Luton twice went ahead in their eventual 2-2 draw with Coventry in midweek with Carlton Morris putting in a man of the match shift at Kenilworth Road. Morris bagged a brace, hitting the back of the net with two of three shots. In addition, he won six aerial duels, completed two dribbles and made one key pass in the stalemate to help return a WhoScored.comrating of 8.78.

4. Scott Hogan (Birmingham) - 9.02 rating

Scott Hogan scored his third, fourth and fifth league goals of the season in Birmingham's 3-2 win at Midlands rivals West Brom in midweek. Hogan bagged a hat-trick with all three shots at the Hawthorns as he earned the WhoScored.com man of the match award with a rating of 9.02 to partner Morris in the EFL team of the week.

3. Patrick Roberts (Sunderland) - 9.20 rating

Patrick Roberts put in his best rated performance of the Championship season in midweek as the Sunderland star returned a WhoScored.com rating of 9.20. Roberts netted with two of three shots in the Black Cats' 3-0 win at Reading. The 25-year-old also completed three dribbles to cap a fine showing on Wednesday night.

2. Lewis Baker (Stoke) - 9.97 rating

Stoke smashed Hull 3-0 on Tuesday night with Lewis Baker putting in an exceptional shift in midfield for the Potters. Baker was directly involved in all three goals at the MKM Stadium, netting twice and providing the assist for Ben Wilmot's goal on the stroke of half time. Those came from respective returns of four shots and three key passes, while two interceptions and one tackle saw the 27-year-old land a WhoScored.com rating of 9.97.

1. Barry Bannan (Sheffield Wednesday) - 10.0 rating

With a perfect 10 rating, Barry Bannan is the WhoScored.com EFL player of the week. Bannan was directly involved in two goals in Sheffield Wednesday's 3-0 win at Morecambe on Tuesday night, providing the assists for Josh Windass and George Byers in the second half at the Mazuma Stadium. The 32-year-old made a whopping 10 key passes in the victory, and made three tackles in a stunning performance.
