The September nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month Award are:
Jon Brady (Northampton Town)
No team suffered more crushing disappointment at the end of last season than Northampton, yet Brady has quickly turned despair back into hope with a perfect four wins from four matches lifting his side into the promotion places.
Mark Hughes (Bradford City)
Hughes has instilled a passing style into Bradford’s previously direct play and introduced competition for places into the squad. Then there are the high standards he demands. In September, that all added up to 10 points from four games.
Scott Lindsey (Swindon Town)
Unknown outside of the County Ground, Lindsey has studiously built Swindon from the back so far this season and guided the Robins to 10 points from a possible 12 in September, which included victories at Doncaster and Grimsby.
Richie Wellens (Leyton Orient)
Having begun the season with a near-perfect points haul, Wellens’ side went even better in September, taking 12 points from a possible 12 without conceding a goal and pulling out a healthy lead at the top of League Two.
