The October nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month Award are:
Josh Davison (AFC Wimbledon) - striker
Davison’s four goals in six games made the difference in the Dons’ three wins. Brought over from Charlton in the summer, the pick of the pacy, dynamic forward’s strikes was a crisp, sweeping finish in the 3-2 victory over Harrogate.
Kyle Knoyle (Doncaster Rovers) – full-back
Four assists from right-back is impressive, the manner of them even more so. In addition to his crossing ability, two runs and passes at Rochdale were the pick, one direct down the wing, the second weaving inside beating four men.
Paddy Madden (Stockport County) - striker
With his work rate and determined harrying of defenders, Madden gives Stockport more than just goals, but his poacher’s knack is priceless. He contributed either a goal (five in total) or an assist in every one of County’s six games.
Jonny Williams (Swindon Town) - midfielder
Freed at last from the injury curse and given licence to roam, Williams is expressing himself across the Swindon front line, running at defenders and bringing teammates into play. Four goals and an assist were his reward in October.
