Papa Johns Trophy Round of 16 Draw on Thursday

The Papa Johns Trophy Round of 16 draw will take place live on Sky Sports News at 4:30pm on Thursday 24 November.

Sky Sports News presenter Claire Tomlinson will be joined by former England international Shaun Wright-Phillips, who scored six goals in 36 caps for the national team, to conduct the draw.

Taking place during the World Cup, 11 of England’s squad have previously played in the EFL Trophy including Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Mason Mount, who all made their professional debuts in the competition.

This season, there have been all-time record attendances for the group stages of the EFL Trophy as the competition now moves into the knockout stages.

Fifteen of the 16 sides have booked their spot in the next round, with Everton Under-21s facing Mansfield on Wednesday 30 November to decide the final berth.

The Papa Johns Trophy Round of 16 fixtures will take place week commencing 12 December.
