Sunderland AFC won promotion from the Sky Bet League One, beating Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 in the Final at Wembley Stadium!
The Black Cats struck either side of the break to end a four-year stay in League One and secure their place in the Sky Bet Championship next season.
Academy graduate Elliot Embleton, who was given the nod to start for the Mackems under the arch after only coming off the bench in the first leg of the Semi-Final, was the hero in the first period.

The midfielder opened the scoring in the 13th minute, going it solo after picking up the ball in the middle of the park and embarking on a mazy run before unleashing an effort past Chairboys stopper David Stockdale.
And the Mackems' leading marksman Ross Stewart doubled Sunderland's advantage with 10 minutes left on the watch. The Scotsman took aim from the edge of the area to ripple the net, marking his 26th goal of the season, as it finished 2-0 to the Black Cats to confirm their ascention back to the Championship.
