The February nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month Award are:
Gary Bowyer (Salford City)
Postponements limited Bowyer’s side to just four games in the month, two of them away to promotion rivals Sutton and Swindon, but they made the most of their limited action by collecting 10 points to maintain their play-off push.
Graeme Lee (Hartlepool United)
Lee is proving himself a quick learner. Juggling his squad to cope with involvement in two cups, he also oversaw Pools’ first League Two away wins since October – at Crawley and Colchester – as they earned 13 points from six games.
John Sheridan (Oldham Athletic)
They say never go back, but the magical connection between Sheridan and Oldham just works. The Latics were seven points adrift of safety entering February but 11 points from five unbeaten games has restored hope at Boundary Park.
Matt Taylor (Exeter City)
Exeter’s drive and determination under Taylor saw them beat both Swindon and Harrogate despite trailing in the final 10 minutes. They also scored an injury-time winner against Orient. It all added up to 13 points from five unbeaten games.
