A special Papa Johns Trophy wrapped London Bus will be making its way to Rotherham and Sutton next week to celebrate the two teams securing their place in the 2022 Wembley Final.
Signifying the road to Wembley, the bus will visit Sutton on Tuesday 29 March and Rotherham on Wednesday 30 March between 11am and 6pm on both dates.
Along with managers and players of both Finalist Clubs, former EFL star Clinton Morrison will join the tour, marking the two teams booking their place in the showpiece, where Papa Johns will also be handing out free pizzas.
The bus will be at the VBS Community Stadium between 11am and 12pm before embarking on a tour of the borough, making its way to Worcester Park, then travelling via North Cheam, Cheam Village, Rose Hill, Wrythe Lane, Hackbridge, Beddington, Wallington and Carshalton before returning via Rose Hill to Sutton Town Centre, where it will be parked up in Trinity Square between 2.30pm and 6pm.
The following day, the bus will set off from Rotherham’s AESSEAL New York Stadium, stopping off at Thornhill Primary School and St. Bedes Catholic Primary School to pay a visit to the local pupils. Following the school visit, the bus will arrive at All Saints Square from roughly 1:10pm. The bus will then make it’s way to Parkgate Shopping Centre for 4:10pm.
Fans of both Clubs will have the opportunity to pose with the trophy, alongside manager, players and mascots, whilst there will also be merchandise available to purchase, commemorating the Final at the National Stadium.
The Millers and the U’s go head-to-head for the silverware under the Wembley arch on Sunday 3 April.
