Earlier this week, the Papa John's Trophy dropped in on our four Semi-Finalists on its nationwide tour.
The silverware made a round-trip to visit the Suit Direct Stadium, home of Hartlepool United, the newly-rebranded Papa Millers store in honour of Rotherham United, Sutton United's Papa Louis John's outlet, and finishing off with a trip to Wigan Athletic to Papa Leam's.
There were photo opportunities with the trophy and a chance to grab the autographs of some current and former players, along with free pizza.
Pools manager Graeme Lee and the Quarter-Final's Player of the Round Luke Molyneux were on hand at Hartlepool, honorary life president John Breckin and mascot Miller Bear were present for the Millers, U's manager Matt Gray and namesake Louis John along with team-mates represented Sutton, and members of the current Latics crop Jamie Jones and Scott Smith were at Wigan.
Giles Codd, Senior Director of Marketing at Papa John’s, said: “The Papa John’s Trophy is a great way for EFL clubs and fans alike to experience a full day-out at Wembley, and the remaining four clubs are now exceptionally close to reaching this goal.
“We’re so excited to be marking these Semi-Final fixtures with a trophy tour that gives back to the fans, with a chance to see the trophy, meet their heroes, win tickets to the final and of course, enjoy lots of free pizza at the same time. We can’t wait to see how the fixtures play out and who will make it all the way to Wembley."
You could also win free tickets to the Semi-Final and and the Final by posting your photo with the trophy from the tour event on Twitter with the hashtag '#PJTSemiFinal'.
The Semi-Finals commence next week, with Sutton welcoming Wigan to South London on Tuesday 8 March, before the Hartlepool and Rotherham battle it out to see who will join the winner in the Final on Wednesday 9 March.
