Vacancies for independent Club Financial Review Panel

25 July 2022

Sports Resolutions, a dispute resolution service for sport, have today advertised the new roles of both Chair and Panel Member to form part of the EFL’s independent Club Financial Review Panel (CFRP).

The CFRP - an independently appointed expert panel, comprising of members with appropriate accountancy, legal and football expertise - will ensure consistency and independence to decision making in respect of matters relating to Financial Regulations.

The Panel will make determinations based on the information provided to the Club Financial Reporting Unit (CFRU) and by the relevant Club(s) in relation to Club Financial Records, HMRC Reporting and the Financial Fair Play (FFP) Regulations (P&S in the Championship and SCMP in Leagues One and Two).

This comes as a result of the Leagues continuing commitment to establish enhanced governance arrangements relating to the operation of member Clubs.

Chair & Panel Members (The Roles)

The Chair will act as the judicial head of the CFRP working in partnership with the Secretariat of Sport Resolutions, whilst the Panel Members will sit as members of the CFRP alongside the Chair, both taking an active role in ensuring consistency in decision-making and in the setting and interpretation of practice and procedure throughout the CFRP.
