The Road to Wembley continues in the Carabao Cup this week, with two big Semi-Final fixtures just around the corner.
Ahead of the matches, we caught up with Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp to get his thoughts and predictions...
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v CHELSEA
Second leg - Wednesday 12 January
(Chelsea lead 2-0 on aggregate)
“Obviously, Chelsea are red-hot favourites now, but I’ve been in this situation before as a player. I’ve been there when you’re leading and when you’re trailing, and I think having no ‘away goals’ rule will help Spurs. It gives you a bit of an incentive to open up.
“The fact that Spurs are without Son is a big blow to them, especially when it comes to the counter-attack, but it’s still an open game and Chelsea will be nervous. Spurs have got to create a big atmosphere, and I can see this one being wide open with lots of goals.
“Spurs have got to have a go, but Chelsea can be a threat if Spurs over-commit. Spurs can afford to be patient and it’s not the end of the world if it’s goalless after an hour. Antonio Conte’s comments would make me want to show him I’m good enough as a player.
Prediction: “It’s beautifully poised. Can Spurs turn it around? I’ve seen stranger things happen. Anything is possible in this second leg.
LIVERPOOL v ARSENAL
First leg - Thursday 13 Jan
“I think this one will come down to the teams. Arsenal have had injury problems which have made it feel like two steps forward and one step back; they’ve been doing really well, particularly the young players. Smith-Rowe and Saka have been excellent this season.
“With Liverpool not having their two talismen in Salah and Mane due to the Africa Cup of Nations, it certainly levels it out in a big way. It’s a game Arsenal won’t be fearing as much now.
Prediction: “I think Liverpool will win this game, but it will be a tight one."
