Chelsea confirmed their place in the Carabao Cup 2022 Final yesterday evening.
The Blues progressed to the Wembley Stadium showpiece - taking place on Sunday 27 February - with a 3-0 aggregate scoreline over the two legs.
Thomas Tuchel’s side took a 2-0 lead into yesterday's clash, beating Semi-Final opponents Tottenham Hotspur on home soil last week in the first leg, courtesy of a Kai Havertz and a Ben Davies own goal.
And the Blues followed it up with a 1-0 victory over Spurs yesterday evening, edging their cross-city rivals in the second leg, with Antonio Rudiger’s first-half strike proving to be the difference.
Chelsea will play either Liverpool or Arsenal in the capital, as the two remaining Semi-Finalists prepare to go head-to-head this evening for a place in the Final when the Reds welcome the Gunners to Anfield. Arsenal return the favour next Thursday when they host Liverpool in the second and final leg to decide who goes to Wembley.
