WhoScored's EFL Team of the Week!

7 February 2022

With another round of EFL games in the bag, take a look at their best rated players from the weekend.

5. Alex Pattison (Harrogate) - 8.81 rating

Remarkably playing just their second home league game of 2022, Harrogate made light work of Bradford on Saturday, easing to a 2-0 win. Alex Pattison put in big shift in the middle of the park at the EnviroVent Stadium, registering the assist for Jack Diamond's opener on the hour mark. That came from one of two key passes, but it was Pattison's work off the ball that caught the eye as he made six interceptions and two tackles to help land a rating of 8.81.

4. Josh Vickers (Rotherham) - 8.92 rating

Rotherham maintained their title push with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Accrington, but while Daniel Barlaser bagged a second half winner, it was Josh Vickers who earned the man of the match award with a rating of 8.92. Vickers made six saves, including a late penalty stop to deny Mitchell Clark from 12 yards, to cap a superb display between the sticks.

3. Tommy Rowe (Doncaster) - 8.95 rating

Sunderland's poor run of form continued at the expense of League One basement boys Doncaster, with Tommy Rowe the star of the show at the Stadium of Light. Rowe earned his second man of the match award of the season in Doncaster's 2-1 win having scored what proved to be the winning goal on the stroke of half time. Six tackles, four interceptions and four clearances meant the 33-year-old was crucial both on and off the ball on Saturday, evidenced by a fine rating of 8.95.

2. Kane Wilson (Forest Green) - 8.99 rating

Kane Wilson registered assists number 10 and 11 for the season as Forest Green maintained their unstoppable march to the League Two title. Indeed, the Green Army earned a 2-0 win over Newport with Wilson providing for Matt Stevens either side of half time. Wilson's brace of sorts came from five key passes as he tormented the Newport defence, completing four dribbles, to help land a rating of 8.99.

1. Jack Diamond (Harrogate) - 9.26 rating

With a rating of 9.26, Harrogate's Jack Diamond is the EFL player of the week. The 22-year-old scored his sixth and seventh goals of the season as Harrogate secured a 2-0 win over Bradford, finding a way past Alex Bass with two of four shots. In addition, Diamond completed four dribbles and made two key passes as the young winger put in his best rated performance of the season.
