Home Park finaly breached

It had been nine home wins from nine games for Plymouth Argyle in League One this season - until Port Vale came to town.

Two second-half goals gave Vale a 2-0 win on Friday night to finally end Argyle's remarkable run of home victories. The Pilgrims still sit a point clear at the top of the table, though.

Five-star Stevenage

The pace at the top of League Two continues to be relentless, with title chasers Stevenage and Leyton Orient putting down even more markers in the race for promotion.

Boro put a stunning five goals past Barrow on Friday night to go top of the table and put the pressure on Orient, who responded with a 3-0 win over Bradford City on Saturday to restore their two-point advantage.

Harrogate double up

It's amazing what a couple of wins can do. Harrogate Town strode past Rochdale with a 4-1 victory on Saturday to register their first back-to-back wins of the season in League Two.

Two weeks ago the Sulphurites were one point above the relegation zone but have now forged a five-point safety cushion.

Play-Off tussle

While the top three in League Two have created a bit of breathing room for themselves, the competition for the four Play-Off spots is starting to heat up nicely.

Only six points separate Barrow in fourth and Doncaster Rovers in 13th, meaning a couple of wins could lift any lurking team into the mix very quickly.

Keep a particular eye on Walsall and AFC Wimbledon, who sit 10th and 11th respectively, with neither side having lost a League game since 15 October.
