Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month: March nominations

5 April 2022

The March nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month Award are:

Cameron Dawson (Exeter City) - goalkeeper

The 26-year-old’s form has been an integral factor in Exeter’s promotion push. His timely contributions in March alone including a pivotal penalty save at Oldham, fine fingertip stops at Port Vale and late heroics against Stevenage.

Ben Garrity (Port Vale) - midfielder

Garrity has taken on more of an attacking midfield role as well as responsibility for driving Vale forward in the absence of captain Tom Conlon. Confident on the ball and inducing hesitancy in defenders, he scored three goals and created another.

Mitch Pinnock (Northampton Town) – winger

Three goals and two assists in six games for The Postman, as he is known to Cobblers fans. A constant threat with his left-footed delivery of free-kicks and whipped crosses, he curled home with his right foot against promotion rivals Tranmere.

Ruel Sotiriou – (Leyton Orient) - striker

The 21-year-old’s Orient career has taken off since the arrival of Richie Wellens. Playing from the start and in a central role, his dynamic energy, hunger to shoot and crisp ball-striking contributed to six goals and an assist in eight games.
