The March nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award are:
Steve Bruce (West Bromwich Albion)
The team Bruce inherited had talent, but little fighting spirit. That all changed in March when deserved wins over Hull and leaders Fulham were backed up by comeback draws against Huddersfield and Bristol City for an eight-point haul.
Steve Cooper (Nottingham Forest)
Momentum is building on the banks of the Trent. Cooper has brought an attacking flair to Forest which was evident in their 4-0 and 3-1 wins over Reading and QPR, respectively, as they earned seven points from three unbeaten games.
Neil Critchley (Blackpool)
Collecting seven points from three games without conceding a goal may not be quite enough for a late promotion charge this season, but Critchley has rekindled the Tangerines’ dreams with a second successive stellar campaign.
Steve Morison (Cardiff City)
So impressive has been Morison’s approach to both the playing style and giving youth its chance at Cardiff, it is easy to forget it is his first managerial post. Ten points from four unbeaten games continued the Bluebirds’ resurgence.
