Rovers raising funds for stadium access

The club is calling on fans to support the '1million steps in March' challenge

5 March 2021

Tranmere Rovers Associate Director, Martyn Best, alongside good friend Chris Wainwright, are aiming to walk a combined 1million steps in March 2021 to raise funds for the installation of additional access for disabled supporters at Prenton Park.

The club's Southern fan base (SSWA) and Disabled Supporters Association have already raised over half of the required funds, with this project intended to complete the fundraising, allowing for the full installation of a lift into the main stand area, providing access for all.

With the club at the heart of its community, even more so throughout the pandemic, they're calling on the public to help support the cause. The project offers rewards in return for donations of £20 or more, including adding names of supporters to a special plaque by the lift to recognise their kindness.
