This season's Papa John's Trophy Finalists will be confirmed this week, with the Semi-Finals set to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
Just four teams remain in the 2020/21 instalment of the competition, all of which will have their sights firmly set on the Final, which will be held at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 14 March.
Here's a look at the Semi-Final ties...
Oxford United v Tranmere Rovers
Tuesday 16 February - 6pm
The first of the two Semi-Finals comes on Tuesday night, as League One Oxford United take on League Two Tranmere Rovers at the Kassam Stadium. Finalists in both 2016 and 2017, Oxford have been in fine form in the league and will want to go all the way this season, but Tranmere know all about what it takes to win this competition, having lifted the Trophy in 1990. Oxford beat AFC Wimbledon 3-1 to reach the Semis, while Tranmere overcame Peterborough United 2-1. Of the players remaining in this season’s competition, Tranmere’s Danny Lloyd is the joint-top scorer, having found the net four times.
Sunderland AFC v Lincoln City
Wednesday 17 February - 6pm
Either Sunderland AFC or Lincoln City will join Oxford or Tranmere in the Final when they meet on Wednesday night at the Stadium of Light. Sunderland were Finalists in this competition just two years ago, while Lincoln's 2018 triumph will still be fresh in the memory for all associated with the Imps. Sunderland registered a convincing 3-0 win at MK Dons in the last round, while League One leaders Lincoln overcame Hull City on penalties to reach the last four. Lincoln's Alex Palmer was named Player of the Round for the Quarters, following his heroics in the shoot-out.
