The November nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month Award are:
Gary Bowyer (Salford City)
Dovetailing Salford’s lofty ambitions with the results and style to turn them into reality can seem an inviting yet precarious task. A poor start didn’t help, but eight points from four unbeaten games rewarded Bowyer’s methods.
Nigel Clough (Mansfield Town)
A revival that began in October blossomed in November with three wins from four games to move Mansfield into mid-table. Never one to panic, Clough’s quiet belief saw the Stags beat fellow strugglers Stevenage, Scunthorpe and Crawley.
Rob Edwards (Forest Green Rovers)
Limited to just three games, Edwards’ side won them all by a two-goal margin to maintain their grip on League Two. He has instilled a calm assurance and belief, as well as an expansive attacking style using the full width of the pitch.
Matt Gray (Sutton United)
Like last season, Gray’s remit at Sutton is to avoid relegation. Like last season, he is building the foundations and momentum to challenge for promotion. His side’s three wins from four games were all achieved without conceding.
