The November nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award are:
Grant McCann (Hull City)
November began with Hull in the relegation zone and McCann under scrutiny. He didn’t waver. His patient belief and determination coaxed a remarkable upturn in form from the Tigers, who won four consecutive games to close out the month.
Tony Mowbray (Blackburn Rovers)
Mowbray’s inclusion in this list looked illogical on November 3 when Blackburn lost 7-0 at home to Fulham, but it was then that he proved his genius by inspiring his players to three wins and a draw in their remaining fixtures.
Marco Silva (Fulham)
Unbeaten in five games in which they amassed 11 points with a 13-2 goal differential, Silva continued Fulham’s march towards automatic promotion, allying swagger and free-scoring style to a mean defence as they went top of the table.
Mark Warburton (Queens Park Rangers)
In the topsy-turvy world of the Championship, any side that can boast consistency in performances and results will move up in a hurry. Warburton’s Rangers did just that, collecting 13 points from a possible 15 and scoring in every game.
