Music legend and Manchester City superfan, Noel Gallagher, will be hoping to see his side lift the Carabao Cup for a fourth consecutive season when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium.
Ahead of kick-off, we caught up with him to discuss the big game, and get a few selections for the official EFL Spotify playlist...
Firstly Noel, how much are you looking forward to this season’s Final?
"I always look forward to any final City are in, but this one in particular will be special for various reasons: should we win, it’ll be the first trophy of what could be a historic campaign!"
Who’s your favourite player in the City side?
"That’s like asking who your favourite child is (mine’s the youngest, by the way!) or what’s your favourite song you’ve ever written... but, if I have to pick one then it’d have to be The Ginger Fury... KDB."
What's your earliest memory of watching City?
"1974. Maine Road. City 5 Newcastle United 1. Malcolm “Super Mac” Macdonald scored the one for Newcastle! For some reason, I remember that, he smashed it in from six yards, in off the underside of the bar."
What's your score prediction for the Final?
"I don’t like making predictions. You’re invariably setting yourself up for a kick in the backside, but I’d take any 4/5/6-0!
Give us one song for the Wembley playlist, to fire up the fans ahead of kick-off...
"Everybody by Asterix. Google it!"
What's the ultimate team walk-out song for Wembley?
"Fort Knox by NGHFB, Google that too!"
One song for the dressing room?
Don’t Scandalize Mine by Sugar Bear... Google THAT!"
How about a song for if you're losing at half-time?
"Show me the way to go home, by Max Bygraves."
And if you're winning?
"Supersonic, by Oasis!"
Lastly, give us a song you'd want to hear if City win the Cup...
"Beautiful Day, by U2."
