Last week Grant Holt surprised grassroots team Salhouse Rovers in Norwich to talk about the importance of grassroots football and how he is supporting the Your Move kit competition, Your Club Your Kit.
“Grassroots football was massive for my development and it’s a big part of everything we do. We always talk about the journey from grassroots for people like Jamie Vardy and myself and that’s where it all started. Started at the bottom and worked up.”
Your Move are giving away over 100 kits to grassroots and school teams across the UK.
“I think the Your Move Your Club Your Kit competition is absolutely fantastic at the moment people are struggling to buy kit, teams are struggling to buy kit. When I was young I think it was 10 years we had the same kit and it just got passed down and passed down. It’s an absolutely fantastic opportunity for anyone all over the country to enter this competition.”
Each team will win 14 shirts, including one for your goalie, shorts and socks. Every strip will have your club logo and be in your club colours so all our winners will be looking super sharp on the pitch.
