Cassia's big Carabao Cup Q&A

21 April 2021

After starting 2021 by treating us to their new ‘Powerlines’ EP, North West-based music trio, Cassia, have been looking ahead to the Carabao Cup Final.

Supporters of Macnhester City, they'll be hoping to see their club lift the trophy for the fourth season in a row.

Below, Lou Cotterill takes us through his pre-match thoughts...

Let's start with the game itself, how much are you looking forward to it?

Very much so... little bit of nerves because of our recent record against Spurs, but always confident when playing at Etihad 2.

Where will you be watching the game?

We're currently in a locked-down Berlin, so my bedroom is as exciting as it gets!

Who's your favourite player in the City side?

It's between Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden. KDB for his undeniable brilliance and Phil because he's a local lad playing for his boyhood club and for the fans - you can't ask for more!

What's your earliest memory of watching City?

29 Jan 2003. My first city game at Maine Road against Fulham. We won 4-1. Shaun Wright-Phillips was on the scoresheet and from then on he became my favourite City player. Those kind of wins were few and far between back then.

What's your score prediction for the Final?

3-1 to City.

Give us one song for the Wembley playlist, to fire up the fans...

Oasis - Morning Glory.

Tell us your ultimate team walk-out song for Wembley?

Fatboy Slim - Right Here, Right Now

And how about a dressing room anthem?

Oasis - Wonderwall

Let's have one song for half-time (if you're losing), and one for if you're winning...

Eminem - Lose Yourself and Drake - Hold On, We're Going Home

Finally, tell us your song for the trophy lift when your team wins!

Queen - We Are The Champions (obviously)
