The February nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month Award are:
Scott Hogan (Birmingham City) – striker
Crossing the second city, even on loan, is never easy, but Hogan won over the Blues faithful in emphatic style. His predatory instincts gave Birmingham a cutting edge in front of goal with six goals and an assist in seven games.
Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham) - striker
In four of their February fixtures, Fulham scored a single goal on each occasion. Mitrovic scored every one, accounting for eight points, including a volleyed equaliser at Derby and a late headed winner against Swansea among his five goals.
Sam Morsy (Wigan Athletic) - midfielder
Tough tackling and determined, Morsy drove his Wigan teammates on as they climbed out of the bottom three for the first time in three months. Allied to his disciplined leadership were crucial goals against Middlesbrough and West Brom.
Cauley Woodrow (Barnsley) - striker
Without his goals, Barnsley would have been cut adrift of their relegation rivals. Showing an ability to take shots early and with superb timing, he scored five of his side’s seven goals in the month and added an assist for good measure.
