The February nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award are:
Marcelo Bielsa (Leeds United)
With his side sliding towards a repeat of last season’s collapse, Bielsa astutely took the pressure off his players by blaming himself and inspired an upturn in form which brought four straight wins and 13 points from seven games.
Slaven Bilic (West Bromwich Albion)
February was when Bilic’s side separated themselves from the chasing pack by garnering 16 points from seven games and scoring 13 goals in the process - due reward for the Croat’s patience with his players during two inconsistent months.
Paul Cook (Wigan Athletic)
Victories away to the top two, Leeds and West Brom, book-ended a month in which his side picked up 14 points from seven games and moved out of the bottom three. They did it in attacking style, too, notching 11 goals along the way.
Scott Parker (Fulham)
His challenge all season has been to instil consistency into his team. The blips are becoming rarer and 14 points from seven games as Fulham kept up their promotion surge suggest that Parker is winning the battle at Craven Cottage.
