Exeter City (0) v Colchester United (1)

  • Colchester United are unbeaten in all three of their matches against Exeter City in League Two this season (W1, D2), keeping a clean sheet in their last two games against the Grecians.
  • The U’s have never won an away Play-Off fixture in three previous attempts. However, this is their first away match in the Play-Offs since the 1997/98 season.
  • Exeter have won the second leg in each of their last two Play-Off campaigns, scoring three goals in each win to secure a place in the Final.
  • The last ten teams to win the first leg of the League Two Play-Off Semi-Finals at home have then progressed to the Final. The last team t fail to do so was Darlington in the 2007/08 season.
  • The Grecians are winless in six matches in all competitions (D2, L4), losing each of the last two in a row. They have not lost three games in a row since December 2018.
  • Cohen Bramall’s two League Two goals for Colchester United this season have been via direct free-kicks.

  • Should the Robins reach the Play-Off Final, it will be their fourth Play-Off Final in the fourth tier - the joint most of any side. Blackpool and Torquay United have both also reached four.
  • Northampton Town have lost seven of their last nine matches in all competitions. They did however win their last away match in February away at Grimsby Town.
  • Since shipping seven goals against Newport County in a Trophy match back in November, Cheltenham have only conceded more than one goal in a game once in all competitions, conceding just 16 goals across 24 matches since then.
