Forty two games down, four to go!
Following more twists and turns in midweek, the Sky Bet Championship action resumes this weekend, with everything still to play for at both ends of the table.
Below, we take you through the latest round of upcoming fixtures, as the 2019/20 campaign takes another step closer to its conclusion:
First up, there's Friday night football in the shape of Huddersfield Town versus Luton Town, a vital meeting at the bottom, followed by Cardiff City's trip to Fulham, a match between two sides harbouring promotion ambitions.
The action continues into Saturday with a pair of early kick-offs which could have a big impact on either end of the standings. Reading, fresh from a fantastic 5-0 win at Luton Town and a further point in midweek, travel to Charlton Athletic, for whom a win would be a big step towards survival. The Addicks are just a point above the drop zone going into the weekend and suffered a narrow loss at Brentford last time out.
Speaking of Brentford, Thomas Frank's promotion-chasing side are on a fantastic run, and head to Derby County in Saturday's other early kick-off. The Bees have a 100 per cent record since the restart and can put pressure on West Bromwich Albion and Leeds United - who currently occupy the top two spots - with three points. Derby's Play-Offs hopes were dented in midweek by defeat to West Brom, and they'll be looking to get back on track as soon as possible.
It's a similar story for the Baggies, whose next match in their bid for promotion is against a Play-Off-chasing side in Blackburn Rovers. Both sides go into this one on the back of a win, after Blackburn's 3-2 comeback victory at Cardiff City, thanks in part to a fine performance from the in-form Adam Armstrong.
At the other end of the table, Saturday is a crucial one for Barnsley, who are four points adrift of safety and preparing to face a Wigan Athletic side that will be buoyant after beating Queens Park Rangers in their last match. The Tykes will be hoping for a slip-up from Hull City, who welcome Millwall to the KCOM Stadium for a 3pm kick-off.
Still by no means out of the woods are Middlesbrough, despite a crucial 2-0 win over Millwall in midweek. Neil Warnock's side host Bristol City, who began the post-Lee Johnson era by ending a poor run of form with a narrow victory against Hull last time out. With just eight points separating the bottom eight sides, it could be all change again this weekend.
Elsewhere, two sides with Play-Off ambitions meet at Deepdale, as Preston North End host Nottingham Forest. The former kept their hopes alive with victory at Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday evening, and could pull to within four points of their opponents with a win here. Even fewer points separate Wednesday and their next opponents, QPR, with the sides set to meet in London on Saturday afternoon.
Finally, there are two further fixtures on Sunday, as Stoke City take on Birmingham City in a six-pointer in front of the Sky Sports cameras, while Leeds will be looking to take a big step towards promotion when they travel to Swansea City, who remain right in the Play-Off mix.
