As #StayHomeSaveLives remains the message, we're taking a closer look at which teams have performed best on home soil so far this season.
Last time, we delved into the best home records across the EFL's three divisions, with Fulham, Portsmouth and Crewe Alexandra coming out on top respectively, but who leads the way when it comes to goals?
Top 'home' scorers: Queens Park Rangers (37)
QPR's Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium has seen plenty of goals since last August. The Rs' tally of 37 on home soil puts them one ahead of promotion hopefuls West Bromwich Albion and local rivals Brentford, with six of those goals coming in a massive win over Cardiff City on New Year's Day. They also put four past Blackburn Rovers in a 4-2 victory, one of eight in front of their own fans in 2019/20.
Top 'home' scorers: Peterborough United (41)
Peterborough United sides have earned a reputation for scoring goals over the years, and 2019/20 has been no different. Their current total of 41 means they are five ahead of the next best side (Portsmouth - 36), with their biggest home win of the season so far a 6-0 victory against Rochdale. Wednesday 29 April is the anniversary of the club's record-breaking 1960/61 campaign, when they managed 134 goals across both home and away league fixtures.
Top 'home' scorers: Crewe & Plymouth (38)
It's a two-way tie when it comes to the top-scoring home sides in League Two, with promotion-chasing Crewe and Plymouth Argyle level on 38 goals apiece. Sixty-two per cent of Plymouth's league goals this season have come on home soil, compared to 57% of Crewe's, with Argyle coming out on top in both meetings between the sides in 2019/20. One thing is for sure, they've both served up plenty of entertainment on home soil so far!
