The February nominations for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award are:
Derek Adams (Plymouth Argyle)
If only his side was this good in the autumn. Eight points from four games, including an important 5-1 victory over Rochdale, lifted Argyle into mid-table and justified the Plymouth board’s faith in his ability to calmly ride out a crisis.
Mick Harford (Luton Town)
Uncomfortable with taking credit for a side he inherited, Harford won’t be able to downplay his impact on the Luton team much longer if they continue to cast aside opponents. Ten points from four games says they will.
Jack Ross (Sunderland)
Managed his squad superbly during a hectic February run of five games in 15 days. Add in the earlier win over Wimbledon and the 12 points they earned from six unbeaten fixtures lifted them back towards the top two.
Daniel Stendel (Barnsley)
When they cannot win matches, Stendel’s side are so well drilled that they don’t lose. Goalless draws against Burton and Portsmouth were supplemented by three stylish victories, including a handsome 4-1 win at Gillingham.
