The Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month nominations are as follows:
Thomas Frank (Brentford)
What appeared a natural succession at Griffin Park proved anything but smooth for Frank as Brentford plunged downwards. He refused to panic and seven points from three games restored faith among players and fans alike.
Lee Johnson (Bristol City)
A second straight nomination for Johnson whose side gained three wins from three games and conceded a single goal in the process. After losing key players in the summer, his impressive rebuild promises another play-off push.
Tony Mowbray (Blackburn Rovers)
A perfect start to 2019 for his team who climbed to within three points of the play-off places with a maximum 12 points from four games. They attacked with verve, while Mowbray’s decision to move Jack Rodwell into central defence looks inspired.
Graham Potter (Swansea City)
His calmness has overseen a smoother rejuvenation of Swansea’s squad than might have been expected. His side are beginning to settle into a groove, too, with eight points from four unbeaten games and nine goals scored.
All winners will be announced on Friday 8 February.
