Portsmouth's Cristian Burgess has been awarded the Checkatrade Trophy Player of the Round for his performance against Peterborough United in the Quarter-Finals of the competition.
Burgess defended valiantly to help Pompey to a 1-0 victory, after an 85th minute winner from David Wheeler.
"It's a really nice feeling," said Burgess
"Peterborough had a really good side out that night and created us a lot of problems.
"But from our point of view and as a defender especially, clean sheets are exactly what you want every game.
"To then win and score late on it meant it was easy for us to hold out as well so it was really pleasing to get the win."
