Sheffield United’s home fixture with Middlesbrough on Wednesday 13 February is being broadcast live on Sky Sports Action.
The Championship clash, kicking off at 7.45pm, is the second selection available to Sky Sports subscribers on Wednesday although, unlike Brentford v Aston Villa on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football, the match at Bramall Lane is also available to online viewers via iFollow.
The option is part of a new ‘co-exclusive’ live arrangement that was announced late in 2018 as part of the EFL’s five year domestic broadcasting deal.
Up to eight midweek games will be available on this basis from 2019/20 onwards (five for the remainder of this season) with EFL Clubs also able to stream any of the co-exclusive matches live on their Direct To Consumer (DTC) offerings. The co-exclusive games are available from this season on a pro-rata basis.
All remaining Championship games on Wednesday will be available online via iFollow (or a Club’s equivalent streaming platform) and the Red Button service on Sky Sports.
