The November nominations for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month Award are:
Gareth Ainsworth (Wycombe Wanderers)
Masterminding an early season surge into contention is one thing, sustaining it to carve out a five-point lead at the top entering December is quite another. Ainsworth’s side picked up 10 points from four games without conceding a goal.
Graham Coughlan (Bristol Rovers)
Limited to just two away EFL fixtures in the month, Coughlan could do no more than lead his Rovers side to six points, scoring six goals in the process. Particularly impressive was the 4-3 win at defensively strong Shrewsbury.
Kenny Jackett (Portsmouth)
Jackett’s experience and nous shone through in November as he shielded the pressure that was enveloping him at Fratton Park away from his players and led them expertly to 10 points and 11 goals from four unbeaten games.
Paul Warne (Rotherham United)
Kept faith with both his players and his beliefs when his side stuttered earlier in the season. November was when the results began to turn with three victories from four games as Rotherham climbed into the play-off places.
