The Carabao Cup Quarter-Finals are upon us, but who will take a step closer to Wembley?
There are four ties set to take place across Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 December and, below, we've taken a closer look at what's to come...
Aston Villa v Liverpool (Tuesday 17 December, 7:45pm)
First up, Aston Villa take on Liverpool at Villa Park, with a place in the Semi-Finals up for grabs. Liverpool have won this competition more than any other side and sit top of the Premier League table, but face a tough test up against Villa, the inaugural winners of the competition back in 1960/61. The Villains overcame Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers to reach this stage, while Liverpool beat Arsenal on penalties after a thrilling 5-5 draw at Anfield to progress.
Everton v Leicester City (Wednesday 18 December, 7:45pm)
Wednesday evening sees Everton host Leicester City, who are likely to be favourites given their excellent league form so far in 2019/20. Brendan Rodgers' men have been free-scoring at one end and solid at the other, while Everton have struggled to find form, but there are certainly no easy games at this stage. The Toffees saw off Watford in the last round, while Leicester won at Burton Albion to set up what should be a cracker.
Oxford United v Manchester City (Wednesday 18 September, 7:45pm)
The holders are in action on Wednesday night, as Manchester City travel to Sky Bet League One side Oxford United, whose Carabao Cup campaign has been one to remember. The U's have beaten Peterborough United, Millwall, West Ham United and Sunderland AFC to reach the Quarter-Final stage and will be up for their next test, though City will be wanting to go all the way once again having beaten Preston North End and Southampton.
Manchester United v Colchester United (Wednesday 18 September, 8:00pm)
To round off the Quarter-Final fixtures, Manchester United take on the lowest-ranked side left in the competition, in Colchester United of Sky Bet League Two. The hosts will be firm favourites to progress but will be well aware that their opponents have caused some big upsets so far, beating Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur en route to this stage. United last won this competition in 2016 and will be hoping to do so again under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - can they go all the way?
