The draw for Round Two of the Carabao Cup has been confirmed this evening.
Broadcast live on Sky Sports from the Peninsula Stadium, Gary Neville and Paul Robinson conducted the draw alongside host Laura Woods.
League Two’s Newport County were drawn against Premier League side West Ham United, elsewhere in the Southern section Cardiff City will face Luton Town.
In the Northern section, Nottingham Forest will host fellow Championship side Derby County and in the only all-Premier League fixture Newcastle United will welcome Leicester City to St James’ Park.
Ties will be played week commencing 26 August with two matches set to be shown live on Sky Sports.
