The March nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month award are:
John Askey (Port Vale)
Having had his confidence shaken by an ill-fated spell at Shrewsbury and a poor start at Vale, he deserves huge respect for inspiring a turnaround at Vale Park with 11 points gained from six games to move away from trouble.
Danny Cowley (Lincoln City)
Almost there. The highest compliment you can pay Cowley is that he has handled the pressure of topping the table since August with ease, instilling belief in his players as they collected 14 points from six unbeaten games.
Micky Mellon (Tranmere Rovers)
Has timed his side’s automatic promotion push to perfection. Five wins from five games, an 11-1 goal differential and entertaining play aplenty has his players bursting with confidence and crowds flocking to Prenton Park.
Paul Tisdale (MK Dons)
Used all his experience of previous promotion campaigns with Exeter to calm nerves at MK when results began slipping earlier in the calendar year. Four wins and a draw from six games lifted his side back into the top two
